In the first part of this recipe, we learned how to cook pumpkin so that it retains its flavor and is the right texture for mixing with the other bread ingredients.
In this section of the recipe, we make the No Yeast Dough.
You will learn to liquify butter then combine all the ingredients in stages and we'll show you what the texture of the dough will look like at each stage. Don't worry, this is such an easy one-pot recipe, that I doubt the recipe can be ruined.
As long as you combine the right proportions of ingredients, the result is certain to be very tasty and "more-ish".
Melt Butter
Select a roomy saucepan in which to make the dough.
Firstly, melt the butter in the pot.
Take it off the heat as soon as the butter's melted.
Add Ingredients
Add the flour all at once.
Combine it with a wooden spoon. It will clump together like lumpy balls. That's fine.
Add mashed pumpkin and season with salt and pepper.
Add the beaten egg and milk.
Combine together
Lastly, add the shredded cheese and olives
The mixture will look like thick heavy batter.
Ready for Baking
Here is the dough ready for baking. Because this is a No Yeast Bread, there is no necessity to knead the dough.
This delicious savory loaf is moist and heavy with cheese, pumpkin and olives.
Each stage of this recipe is very simple, as you will have seen in the step by step instructions of each section of making this very easy pumpkin bread recipe.
