How To Cook Quinoa

Here's how to cook the quinoa just right for salads
For this part of the tutorial, you'll require:
- 1 cup quinoa grains
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 heaped ts stock powder

This is what the quinoa grains looks like.
Rinse the grains well at least 3 times till the water runs clear.
Add the water and stock powder.
Bring to a rapid boil on high heat.
Then turn the heat down to very low to simmer quietly till cooked. Use a little trick to tip the lid while mostly covering the pot, to bring down the temperature to a low simmer.
It's cooked when all the liquid is absorbed. This takes in all, about 20 -25 minutes.
Leave it covered, off the heat for 5 - 10 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
It's ready now to be included in this delicious salad.
