Why I like this product:

Powdered or icing sugar is fussy to handle and store.  This extremely fine sugar makes a horrendous mess in the pantry if it is not stored securely, so I go to the trouble of securely wrapping the bag of sugar with a double strength rubber band and storing that in a keeper, to be doubly certain there are no accidental spills in the pantry.

Further, I would ordinarily use a tea strainer to dust icing or powdered sugar over cakes, cup cakes and desserts.

Progressive has solved these two problems of secure storage and easy handling when dusting with their famous air-tight storage design and built in mesh dispenser.
